An interactive presentation titled “The Kaleidoscope of Care” was highlighted at incosmetics Paris, NYSCC Suppliers’ Day, and at FCE Brazil. The image of beauty is unique, colourful and continually changing. Like the patterns in a kaleidoscope, the definition of beauty is complex and subject to interpretation. Regardless, the search for simplicity in this kaleidoscope is universal. Whether at work or at play, consumers are seeking faster, easier, more effective solutions to their needs. To further help formulators tailor their efforts to meet these market trends, the ideas of these trends are carried into full product formulation recommendations, complete with prototypes and fully developed formulas. | This year has been a mixed year for the global cosmetics and personal care market. Although industry leaders, such as L'Oreal and Estee Lauder, continue to post strong financial results, other companies, such as Revlon, continue to struggle. On a market basis, the global make-up market, which showed strong growth through 2002, is expected to slow, particularly in the more developed markets of the US and Europe. However, skin care and sun care markets, are expected to show solid results in the near term. |
